30th July 2018 : New Notice 

There has been some suggestion that the Parishes of Yealand Redmayne and Yealand Conyers could merge. There will be a Question and Answer meeting, to be held on Monday 10th September 2018, at 6.00pm in the Village Hall. All are welcome to attend and and hear the possible implications. If you cannot attend, please contact your Clerk or Parish Chairperson, if you wish a question to be answered. We look forward to seeing you there.

 

 

A Parish Council is a small local authority, as defined by the Local Government Act 1894.  YRPC is composed of 5 Parish Councillors,  with at least three being in attendance to ensure a meeting is quorate. They employ a Part-time Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer ( average 4 hours per week ).

Elections for Parish Councillors take place every four years, the next election being in 2019. Any member of the public residing in the parish and over the age of 18 can stand for election.

Parish Council meetings are held every two months, usually on the third Monday in January, March, May, July, September and November.

Mon 14th May 7.00 - Annual Parish Assembly, followed by the AGM & Ordinary Meeting at 7.15pm

Mon 16th July 2018 7.15pm

Mon 17th September 2018 7.15pm

Mon 19th November 2018 7.15pm

Mon 21st January 2019 7.15pm

Mon 18th March 2019 7.15pm
